Most cannabis strains today are hybrids of some sort, but we traditionally think of hybrids as something between the 60/40 – 40/60 range of sativa to indica respectively. Hybrids are sought after for a number of reasons ranging from wide medicinal benefits to prized growing traits, but GDHS classifies them into two main categories: Mixed Bag and Clear Identity. The mixed bag is where a medication will start off acting like one of the base strains and then switch to the other strain somewhere along the line. You can think of this like a roller coaster, going up and then down or vice versa. The clear identity hybrid is where the patient will receive steady effects encompassing both strains for the full duration of time.
