Pre-98 Bubba Kush
Old-school Afghani Indica variety, grows stout and turns purple, red, and black at times before harvest. Very strong narcotic sensations, great sleep aid and pain relief qualities. Indica-dominant, This is the original cut that came out of California about 1998. Mel Frank’s MJ Botany describes the landrace Hindu Kush as a dead on match to the growth and flower structure to Bubba Kush. The story told years ago was Bubba came from original Afghani Kush seeds collected shortly after the Russians withdrew from Afghanistan in ’89 by some West Coast travelers. There are also: The Purple Bubba, The Green Bubba, Mint Bubba, Coffee Bubba, and about 5 so called Pre 98 Bubba’s.
